MXYPLYZYK!

Dear People Who Read This Site, “George”, Girl, That Euro, Special C, Dr. Chris, Medicine Woman, The (Other) O.C., (Get Back) JoJo, Beloved Retailers, Almost as Beloved Press, and Especially Beloved Potential Investors,

As of Saturday, we have a new retailer joining the Embittermints fold -- MXYPLYZYK, a fantastic gift, sundries, and design store located at 125 Greenwich Avenue (at 13th Street) in Greenwich Village. I have believed that MXYPLYZYK would be the perfect venue for Embittermints since Embittermints were but a gleam in my eye, so I am really overjoyed to see this partnership come to fruition. I feel like a parent whose child has gotten into and has started to attend a really good college, except without the tuition payments and the obligatory Monet and/or Robert Doisneau posters on the wall. Seriously, please go to MXYPLYZYK and pick up some Embittermints (and any of the other wonderful products they carry -- I'm partial to the Doodle Memo Clips . And, to answer their question, yes, you can buy happiness at MXYPLYZYK, and now you can buy some bitterness too. So, please, go and purchase your Embittermints at MXYPLYZYK. Tell your friends, and go forth and shop some more. Lather, rinse, repeat. And please post your Embittermints purchase experiences at MXYPLYZYK here in the comments.

It's hard to focus on the TVs now that we have retail news to share, but I would be remiss if I didn't at least comment a little on the passing of the Gilmore Girls. Truly a fine show, but it lost a lot of steam over the past two years. Rory's cute bangs can't make up for improbable character development and not enough heart. Seeing hot Christopher almost did. But it was time for them to go, and I'm glad they did so with grace. The rest of the TV season has sort of lumbered towards a disappointing close. I find myself sitting in front of the TV with no desire to turn it on. I realize it could be a medical condition or vitamin deficiency, but I suspect it may be because there isn't much I like on these days. Which is saying a lot, since I singlehandedly kept Miss Match, That's Life, and Sorority Life (SUNY Buffalo) on the air with my viewership.

Go forth and shop!
